Had the pleasure of catching this video (and Rihanna’s “Only Girl in the World”) on MTV while I was flying to San Francisco a few weeks ago out of JFK (of course the only time they’ll show videos is at 7am, which is when my flight took off). Of all the times I was happy to be awake at 6:45am, this is one of them, because I find this video beautiful in a hypnotic, elegant way. And the song, of course, is a gem.
